How to Embed a PDF Document Into Your Website

Today, we’ll take a look at how you, the reader, can take your PDF documents and present them on your website without additional plugins, as all we will be using are embed codes. There’s a number of third-party websites that house your PDF files in their viewers. The most popular ones that have implemented improved features will be discussed after the jump.

Zoho is suite of superb office and productivity applications, among which is a web-based viewer that supports a lot more formats than Google Docs, including but not limited to Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, RTF (rich text format) files, as well as OpenDocument text, presentation and spreadsheet files. Unlike the Google Docs Viewer, the Zoho Docs Viewer lets you upload a file you own (which you can publish so it will have a short, shareable URL) or paste the URL in the main page. Once you’ve uploaded your file and are viewing it online, you can grab the embed code at the Embed tab. There’s no required sign-up process.

How to upgrade ClamAV on Ubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04 LTS

You need to add
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-clamav/ppa/ubuntu hardy main to your

/etc/apt/services.list and run apt-get update. After that apt-get upgrade clamav

If apt-get upgrade does not work, do apt-get install clamav clamav-base clamav-daemon clamav-freshclam

Update Virus Definitions

Use freshclam.
You will see an output like this:

user@ubuntu:/etc/clamav # sudo freshclam
ClamAV update process started at Wed Apr 27 00:06:47 2005
main.cvd is up to date (version: 31, sigs: 33079, f-level: 4, builder: tkojm)

Enable settings Display are disable by the system administrator

Pernah anda mengalami, seting display disable oleh kontrol panel,masalah tersebut bisa diselesaikan dengan cara edit registry

berikut setep2 yang perlu dilakukan

Start | Run | Type: gpedit.msc | OK |
Navigate to >>>
User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Control Panel\
Prohibit access to the Control Panel
[[Disables all Control Panel programs.]]

This is what gets set by the policy above.

Dari menu start masuk RUN ketikan regedit muncul registry editor,
Registry: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Pol icies\System NoDispCPL

Gantilah value dari 1 menjadi 0, sekrang lihat display nya sudah bisa di setting lagi

Value Data: 0 or 1
0 = disable restriction

Apa BIOS sudah mulai menemui ajalnya? Kelihatannya begitu. Penggantinya, UEFI — jangan sampai para mania tekno keliru dengan UEFA — akan semakin sering ditemukan di PC mulai tahun depan. Bagi para mania tekno ini berarti satu hal: waktu booting yang jauh lebih cepat.

Masalahnya dengan BIOS adalah BIOS sudah cukup uzur — saat ini BIOS sudah digunakan selama 25 tahun. Sangatlah tidak efisien untuk mencoba menjalankan perangkat-perangkat modern jika Anda masih terkendala dengan barisan kode setua itu.

Begitu PC para mania tekno menggunakan UEFI, para mania tekno akan melihat waktu booting dari hitungan menit menjadi hitungan detik. Karena E di dalam UEFI merupakan singkatan dari extensible (dapat diperluas), ini menandakan UEFI bisa dimodifikasi dan terus dikembangkan untuk menambahkan kemampuan-kemampuan baru di PC kita. Rasanya sudah tidak sabar untuk melihat UEFI naik tahta menggantikan BIOS.
